I study how inflammatory, age-associated, and treatment history reshape immune and tissue states over time. My imaging-centered work uses quantitative clinical imaging and radiobiology to derive host phenotypes from routine scans and relate them to immune, genomic, treatment, and outcome data.
Complementary projects use single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, bulk RNA, proteomics, and microbiome data to study regulatory and persistent tissue-state dynamics. My M.S. thesis at Johns Hopkins, StageBridge: Niche-Conditioned Regulatory Transport in Premalignant Epithelial Progression, focused on how tissue context constrains regulatory state transitions inferred from cross-sectional spatial and single-nucleus transcriptomics.
The common thread is the inferential layer between measurement and biology: what latent state can be recovered from sparse observations, which computational structures transfer across modalities, where those analogies fail, and what remains non-identifiable without stronger data or perturbation.
